NTAA Launches 2D Production Workshop Series
The National Talent Academy for Animation is launching a series of 2D Production Workshops. The courses are open to graduates & professionals. We welcome applicants from underrepresented groups, diverse backgrounds and regional areas.

Location: Virtual attendance via Zoom.
Cost: There is no cost to the participants but places are limited.
Requirements: Candidates must be resident in Ireland.

Course Details:
1. Production Assistant Workshop (Entry Level)
Duration: 1 Day (Thursday, 18th September) – 10am – 4pm
The role of Production Assistant in 2D animation can vary greatly depending on the kind of production, software and culture of any given studio. With that variance in mind, this one day course will give a general overview of expected tasks and responsibilities of the Production Assistant while giving the trainees a solid footing in understanding the typical pipeline and how to adapt to tasks that may go beyond the expected.
2. Production Coordination Workshop (Intermediate)
Duration: 2 Days (Thursday, 11th & Friday, 12th September) – 10am – 4pm.
The purpose of the Production Coordinator course is to give the trainees a good sense of the 2D animation pipeline and the typical environment of an animation studio in which they may work. The trainees will learn about pipeline workflow, crew roles, people management, tracking tools, set up and deliverables.
3. Production Management Workshop (Experienced)
Dates: 3 Days (Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th of September) – 10am – 4pm.
This course will cover the main tenets of the role of Production Manager related to setting up and managing a 2D animation pipeline. The trainees will learn about pipeline workflow, scheduling, crew structure, people management, tracking tools, set up, client management and deliverables.
