2D Production Series: Production Coordination with Leon Elliott

PRODUCTION COORDINATION WORKSHOP

The National Talent Academy for Animation is launching our Production Coordination Workshop with Leon Elliott as part of our 2D Production Series. This two day course will cover the main tenets of the role of Production Coordinator as is typical in an animation studio.

 

Content:

The participants will gain knowledge of not only the full 2D animation pipeline, but will also have enough understanding of people and asset management that they will be able to adapt to small and large scale productions.

Day One:

The first day will start with an overview of 2D pipelines and typical variants that the participants might come across as they progress in the industry. The latter part of day one will also include principles of asset tracking and management with practical instructions on how to build an asset management system in Google Drive.

The participants will be asked to build a basic animation tracking sheet in Google Drive, having learned how to do so earlier in the class. The efforts will be assessed in class two and feedback will be given with the opportunity to have any outstanding questions answered.

Day Two:

We will return in more depth to asset management and then progress to people management principles.

Date: Thursday, 11th & Friday, 12th September, 10am - 4pm.

Location: Online.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants.

Places: 10.

Deadline: Wednesday, 3rd September at 5pm.

 

Requirements:

Candidates with some experience working in a production environment preferred.

Candidates must have access to Google Sheets.

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
