2D Production Series: Production Assistant with Leon Elliott

PRODUCTION ASSISTANT WORKSHOP

The National Talent Academy for Animation is launching the Production Assistant Workshop with Leon Elliott as part of our 2D Production Series. The participants will gain knowledge of not only how to perform the role but also how to break through in the application process to give them the best chance of being hired in the industry.
 

Content:

The role of Production Assistant in 2D animation can vary greatly depending on the kind of production, software and culture of any given studio. With that variance in mind this course will cover broad but important topics with contextual anecdotes from over a decade of experience. Topics covered will include a pipeline overview, tracking, typical PA tasks and expectations as well as less formal guidance on how to conduct oneself in a studio environment plus tips on how to get your foot in the door in the first place with CV and application advice.

Date: Thursday 18th September, 10am - 4pm.

Location: Online.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants.

Deadline: Wednesday, 3rd September at 5pm.

Requirements:

This is an entry level workshop.

Candidates must have access to Google Sheets.

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
