“What’s My Job?” Panel & Coffee Morning with Neuro Pride Ireland and NTA Film & TV

 

Join us for an networking coffee morning and panel discussion hosted by NTA Film & TV in collaboration with Neuro Pride Ireland! 

This event is a must-attend for anyone in or interested in breaking into the film industry and screen sector. Our focus will be on the experiences and insights of creative professionals and filmmakers who are already making waves in their fields.

The event kicks off with a relaxed coffee meet-and-greet, giving you a chance to connect with fellow attendees. Then, we will dive into a panel discussion where our speakers will share their journeys, challenges, and advice for aspiring creatives. After the panel, there will be plenty of time to network, mingle, and make valuable connections.

Whether you’re a newcomer, emerging talent looking to network, or an established creative, this event is for you! 

All are welcome, no matter your background or experience level.

 

Our panel will include: 

  • Naomi Hanlon is an animator and illustrator from Kilkenny. They graduated from TUS Athlone in 2023 and currently have a short film in the film festival run about the female/ AFAB experience of autism. 
  • Deirdre Bolger is a Graphics Assistant from Co. Mayo. She graduated GMIT (now ATU) in 2019 and is currently working on Harry Wild Season 4. Her credits include: The Banshees of Inisherin, The Pope's Exorcist, The End, Modern Love Season 2 and many more.
  • Olaya Chesneau has been bobbing along a camera since she was 23 years old, starting as a trainee in Vast Valley, they worked their way up through the ranks of camera department from there. Olaya has been working between postproduction and set for the past 17 years. She has a strong interest in colour grading.  
  • Constanza Abbas Blanco is originally from Buenos Aires and is an actress with a training background in both Acting and Film who navigates the path of healing from CPTSD. She began working in production in 2021. Her last credits are as a Prod Coordinator. With a deep passion for storytelling, she is now co-writing an independent film that will be shot across various cities including Dublin and Madrid. Additionally, she is working with Outlandish Theater for the Dublin Theater Festival (DTF) 

The panel will be hosted by Gemma Creagh. 

  • Gemma Creagh is a writer/filmmaker who loves telling funny, messy stories for stage and screen. She’s the Associate Editor of Film Ireland and a regular film contributor for RTE Arena. Her first funded short as a director, Conveyance has just premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh.
