This two half day online course, running on the 3rd & 4th February  between 09.30 to 12.30 each day,  is brought to you by Vectorworks in partnership with the Film and TV Crew Academy South.

This course brings Vectorworks users to an intermediate level. With a particular focus upon using 3D tools, you will extend your knowledge of Vectorworks to draw and visualise interior spaces and elements. This courses also introduces the importing of PDF and DWG formats as well as the use of Vectorworks Viewports and Sheet Layers.

With the change to our living/working dynamic and the increasing demand to produce more and more tv/film content for audiences to enjoy and escape to, there’s a push to get ideas understood and visualised a lot sooner in the concept design stages, so changes could be made quicker and not hinder the production time.

Setting up the drawing area (Design layers and Classes)

Drawing and editing shapes

Snapping

Symbol Creation

Resource manager

Setting up the printing area (Sheet layer)

Viewports

Image Props

Lighting

Textures

Render Styles

Annotations

Text styles

Print/ Export/Publish

Participant Profile:

This course is aimed at those who want to improve their experience to an intermediate level.  This course is not suitable for new users.    

Film & TV Crew Academy South is managed by Film in Limerick

The course is limited to 8 spaces.
