Job Share Partnership Support Initiative | Database
Overview:

The Crew National Talent Academies and Raising Films Ireland are delighted to launch the final instalment of their 2025 Job Share programme.  We aim to create a database of Job Share Partnerships from which productions can crew. Six partnerships will be supported in 2025 with funded crossover days, guidance, and mentorship.

This initiative supports screen sector professionals who wish to participate in job-share partnerships on productions. Recognising the value of flexible working and collaboration, the program promotes sustainable careers through shared roles, enabling a better life-work balance, increased inclusion, and access to industry opportunities.

Who It's For:
  • Experienced crew seeking to job share in the screen industry (any department)
  • Existing job share pairs
  • Those returning to work, changing roles, or seeking more flexible working arrangements
Support Offered:
  • Database: An opportunity to be included on a database as a job share partnership that productions will crew from in 2025.
  • Funded Crossover Days: Financial support for overlapping workdays to ensure seamless handovers and effective team collaboration.
  • Guidance & Best Practice: Resources to help job share teams and productions implement effective, inclusive practices.
  • Mandatory Training: Successful database applicants must attend job share partner training in Dublin city centre on Saturday, 26th July to participate in the initiative.
Aims of the Initiative:
  • Encourage job share arrangements in the screen sector.
  • Break down barriers to entry or progression for caregivers, underrepresented groups, and those seeking flexible roles.
  • Build a thriving, skilled, and adaptable workforce.
Important Notes – Partnership Requirement

To be included in the Job Share Database, you must apply as a partnership. This program does not provide a matchmaking service. However:

  • If you're applying as an individual, you may opt in to have your details shared with other individual applicants who have similar roles.
  • It is your responsibility to initiate conversations, assess compatibility, and decide whether to form a working partnership before formally applying together.
