Expression Of Interest for the National Talent Academy Film & TV and WRAP Commission Mentorship Programme for Producers.

As part of ongoing efforts to nurture and develop creative talent nationwide, the NTA Film & TV, in collaboration with the WRAP Commission, is looking to gauge interest in a specialised Mentorship Programme for Producers. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals living outside of Dublin and Wicklow, and furthermore living/working in the WRAP regions*, in Drama, Live-Action, Documentary, Scripted & Unscripted, Features, Television, Animation, or Games Development.

This Mentorship Programme aims to provide Producers of various levels (New, emerging, and established Producers, Production Companies, Executive Producers, Creative Producers, Development Producers, Line Producers, Associate Producers, & Service-oriented Producers) with valuable guidance, support, and expertise to navigate the intricacies of the production landscape, both in Ireland and internationally. To ensure that the Mentorship Programme meets the specific needs, interests, and notable skills gaps of potential participants, we are seeking input from the industry alongside guidance on specific mentorship topics and mentor suggestions.

Please note by registering your interest you are not applying for a mentorship. This survey allows us to assess demand and preferences, thereby enabling us to tailor the programme to best meet the aspirations and requirements of our prospective mentees.

Potential Mentorship Topics:

  1. Legal and Business Guidance: Understanding legal frameworks, intellectual property rights, contract negotiation, funding opportunities, and distribution strategies essential for successful media projects.
