As part of the 2024 Disappear Here Film Festival, NTA Film & TV is delighted to host an exclusive Directing Masterclass featuring two rising stars Paul Kennedy and Rich Peppiatt.

On Saturday, October 05th, at 4PM, join acclaimed directors Paul Kennedy (Dead Man's Money) and Rich Peppiatt (Kneecap) for an insightful conversation about the art of filmmaking.

Paul Kennedy is widely known as an actor, with credits including House of the Dragon, Clean Sweep, Harry Wild, and Marcella. In addition to acting, Paul has written and directed several short films, and his directorial feature debut, Dead Man's Money, will open the festival. Rich Peppiatt is best known for directing the critically acclaimed Kneecap, a global box office hit.

In this masterclass, Kennedy and Peppiatt will provide an in-depth look at their feature films and the creative challenges they faced during production. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the filmmaking process, including storytelling techniques, casting decisions, and how to navigate the complexities of turning a vision into reality.

Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker or a seasoned director, this masterclass will offer practical tips and inspiration to help you bring your stories to life on screen.

This session take place in the Ballyliffin Hotel in Donegal and will be hosted by Derek O’Connor, renowned writer and critic from RTE Culture.
