The National Talent Academy Animation, supported by Screen Ireland, is working with the Irish Centre for Diversity to better understand what it is like to work across Ireland's animation industry.

We want to hear directly from people working in the sector about their experiences – what's working well, what supports people to feel included and valued, and where there may be opportunities to strengthen the experience of working in animation in Ireland. The more perspectives that are heard, the fuller the picture that can be built of people's experiences across the animation industry.

As part of this work, NTAA with ICFD will be running a series of Listening Circles – small, confidential and independently facilitated conversations that will give people across the industry an opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives.

Find out more at our Information Webinar

Before the Listening Circles begin, ICFD is holding a short information webinar to explain the initiative and give people the opportunity to find out more before deciding whether they would like to participate.

What will be covered:

  • Why the Listening Circles are being held
  • What a Listening Circle is and what you can expect
  • Who can take part
  • The kinds of experiences and topics that will be explored
