The National Talent Academy (NTA) proudly participated in the Xplore Your Future TY Skills Expo in Fingal earlier this month.

Held at The Helix, Dublin City University, the Xplore Your Future TY Skills Expo, which was organised by by Fingal County Council, in collaboration with Dublin City University (DCU), Dublin Regional Skills Forum (DRSF), and Solas, was the first-ever event of its kind hosted by a local authority.

Its aim was to empower Transition Year (TY) students aged 15-17 to embark on a journey of discovery, unveiling a universe of diverse career opportunities and alternative pathways as they transition from secondary education. The expo was an interactive platform and featured live demos, VR experiences, and hands-on learning opportunities.

NTA was delighted to be a part of the expo as it provided us with a valuable opportunity to engage with the next generation and young minds. Our aim was to offer these students insights into the numerous career options available in the screen sector.

With over 1,700 TY students in attendance, our participation in this event held significant importance, as it aligns with our commitment to nurturing the next generation of filmmakers and expanding the horizons of young minds. Our team eagerly shared their valuable knowledge and encouraged students to explore their interests, helping them discover their unique talents.
