The course offers a broad overview of key on-set departments and combines classroom learning with practical real world elements. Passport to Production places a strong emphasis on future-focused skills critical to sustainable careers in the screen sector, including problem-solving, adaptive thinking, creative collaboration, and emotional intelligence.
The programme is open to applicants of working age who are not currently in full-time education and who are seeking to enter the live-action film and television industry at trainee level.
Richard (graduate of P2P 2024)
“The guest speakers (professional crew) were great; they gave a detailed analysis of their roles. It was a great rundown of different duties that trainees might have to do.”
Yulia (graduate of P2P 2024)
“The most beneficial thing is the opportunity to be on set and learn how to assist on set. We got information in this course that we didn’t get in college.”
The closing date for applications is 12pm, Thursday 5th Feb, 2026.
