The National Talent Academy for Animation is delighted to launch the Using Blender as a Tool for Concept Artists workshop with Rachele Azzarone as part of our Animation Software Series.

 

Course Overview

This course is designed for Concept artists working in the 2D space who want to utilise the powerful tool of Blender to assist their workflow and quality.

Workshop will cover:

● Completing a 3D concept model, ready for refinement in Blender or paintover in Photoshop or equivalent.

● Becoming familiar with all the essential tools in Blender to integrate 3D into their concept design workflows.

● Feeling confident in using Blender and exploring further on their own and applying it to studio work.

 

Course Details

Dates: 14th May, 21st May and 28th May.

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Location: Virtual attendance via Zoom.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants but places are limited.

Places: 12. 

Deadline: Friday, April 4th at 5pm.

 

Candidate Criteria

Concept artists and environment designers in the animation industry looking to integrate 3D into their 2D workflows. Any style is welcome, from realistic to stylized. Basic knowledge of Blender is preferred.

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
