The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund: Information Session

The NTA are excited to invite talent working within the live-action and animation industry to attend an information session for the The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund 2024.

What is the The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund?

If you are already working in the live action or animation industry, this new initiative from the NTA Film & TV and NTA Animation aims to support you in transfer, upskill and/or make a career move from your current area of expertise to take part in your first project as short film as a Writer or Director.

The National Talent Academies Short Film Fund is targeted at practitioners who wish to learn additional skills or move into a different role as a Writer or Director.  It is underpinned by a €13,000 fund that will provide the filmmaking team with carefully tailored mentoring, training, and workshops delivered by experienced industry professionals over the course of a year.  This scheme is heavily focused on skills development and supporting you in expanding your skillset, enabling you to take on new, key roles in the film/TV and animation industry.

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance the skills you already have, learn new ones, and allow your career to take new direction and flourish.

Who can attend the info session?

If you plan to submit an applciation and/or already working in the industry and would like to transfer/upskill or take on a new role as a Writer or Director, we would welcome you to attend this information session.
