Stop Motion Workshop with Studio 9

The National Talent Academy for Animation is delighted to launch our in-person Stop Motion Workshop with Studio 9.

Course Overview:

This workshop is aimed at beginner level students and provides a broad overview of the process of planning, designing and shooting a cut out animation scene.

This will include:

1. Designing and building characters and backgrounds for stop motion cut out animation.

2. Setting up and lighting a set.

3. Working in a group to brainstorm, storyboard and animate a short scene.

Course Details:

Date: Saturday, May 4th.

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Location: Studio 9, 9 N Great George's St, Rotunda, Dublin 1, D01 P2N9.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants, but places are limited. 

Places: 12

Deadline: 15th of April

Requirements:

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
