Stop Motion Workshop with Pádraig Fagan

The National Talent Academy for Animation is delighted to launch the Stop Motion Workshop with Pádraig Fagan.

Course Overview:

This workshop is aimed at beginner level students and provides a broad overview of the process of planning, designing and shooting a cut out animation scene.

This will include:

1. Designing and building characters and backgrounds for stop motion cut out animation.

2. Setting up and lighting a set.

3. Working in a group to brainstorm, storyboard and animate a short scene.

Course Details:

Date: March 9th

Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Location: TUS Athlone, Room Z204

Cost: There is no cost to the participants, but places are limited.

Requirements:

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.
