Course Profile:
This course will run over one day on Friday October 17th
This in-person course is run by the National Talent Academies: Film & TV Crew Academy East. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the basic knowledge required to start on a production and be ‘set-ready’. It is a practical hands-on course and will enable participants to hit the ground running their first day on the set of a production.
Course content:
- Crew roles and job descriptions
- Overview of the organisational structure of a production
- Understanding essential production documents such as call sheets, schedules and movement orders.
- Filling out start forms and timesheets
- Set Lingo
- Using walkie talkies
- Red light, bell and stage doors
- Set culture
Participant Profile:
This course is aimed at new entrants and trainee crew who want to work or are working in the live-action Film & TV Drama Industry.
