Osaka Expo 2025 Short Film Fund
Fís Eireann/Screen Ireland, in partnership with Animation Ireland and the National Talent Academy for Animation, is providing production funding for up to four short animated films (maximum budget €26,000 per film) to be produced and screened at Ireland’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
This is an opportunity to bring Ireland to a global audience. The films can represent any aspect of the country, contemporary or historical e.g. highlighting cultural memories of particular significance to Ireland such as emigration or showcasing significant landmarks. The films should bring original and new ideas on Irish culture to the screen, providing Expo visitors the opportunity to gain a better understanding of Ireland, our culture and history.
