NTA Networking Event in Roscommon
The National Talent Academies is excited to host a special networking event as part of the Script to Screen day at the Roscommon International Film Festival (RIFF) on Thursday, 9 October 2025.
New for 2025, RIFF Script to Screen is a dedicated development and networking space for screenwriters and filmmakers, whether you’re just starting out or already established.
Event Schedule
Workshop with Ali Doyle – 1:00pm–2:30pm
Ali Doyle, Head of Development at Newgrange Pictures and founder of Mental Pictures, has worked across Sundance award-winners, acclaimed horrors, and bold international co-productions. Known for championing fearless storytelling and new voices, Ali will share insights from her career and advice for creatives at all stages.
Screen-Dating – 2:30pm–3:30pm
A fast-paced networking session designed to spark creative collaborations. Writers, directors, and producers will have the chance to meet potential partners—like speed-dating, but with scripts instead of small talk. Expect lively conversations, opportunities to discuss standout entries from the screenplay contest, and the chance to build lasting creative connections.
NTA Networking Session 3:30pm–6:00pm
An open networking space bringing together above- and below-the-line talent. Come ready to exchange ideas, ask questions, and meet collaborators who could help shape your next project.
