Networking BBQ at the Galway Film Fleadh

The National Talent Academies are excited to host a Networking BBQ at this year’s Galway Film Fleadh on Sunday 16th at 2.30PM in the Galmont.

Sunday’s industry events starts with the Panel Conversation hosted by X-Pollinator, followed by the Fleadh’s Short Film Panel and ending with the NTA networking BBQ hosted by the National Talent Academies

 

At the BBQ, you can meet the teams behind the Film & TV, Animation and three Crew Academies while hearing about our upcoming national opportunities and initiatives. 

Enjoy the last day of the festival with some final mingling and networking over a burger and a beer!. 

 

The National Talent Academies are an initiative of Screen Ireland.

Who Can Attend:

This event is open to everyone working in the Film & TV, Live Action and /or Animation Industry. Including all talent levels from entry to established!

X-Pollinator is an initiative to help address gender diversity in the Irish screen industry, supported by Screen Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, Northern Ireland Screen & BBC NI’s CINE scheme and Creative Europe Desk Ireland. As part of X-Pollinator: CREATOR, which identified and supported twelve diverse and emerging female and non-binary directors, we will be concluding the programme with an industry panel.

Among other topics, at this year’s panel we will discuss why representation matters and we ask does the flexibility & freedom of shorts make it the best place to effect meaningful inclusivity and diverse representation in the industry? We welcome everyone from established to wannabe filmmakers to join us.
