Introduction to Unreal Engine for the Animation sector
The National Talent Academy for Animation in collaboration with CMAI (Creative Media Academy of Ireland) is delighted to launch the Introduction to Unreal Engine for the Animation sector workshop, which is part of the Animation Software Series.
Course Overview
This workshop is aimed at animation artists looking to understand the basics of the software and how to get started.

Dates: January 10th, 17th & 24th
Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm
Location: Virtual attendance via Zoom
Cost: There is no cost to the participants but places are limited
Places: 12

Tutor Bio
Stéphane Biava
After starting out in sculpture and academic drawing, Stéphane Biava quickly turned to 3D and Real Time. He collaborated on the World Pastry Championship every year, as a 3D Visual Artist.
In 2018, he became Lead 3D Artist at Planète Vapeur, making giant mechanicals structures and previews for Live Events. He then collaborates in parallel with LVMH as a 3D Technical Artist. He had the opportunity to work with Friendly Fire 3D as an Unreal Virtual Set Designer. He also worked with Little Moon Animation Studio as an Unreal Generalist and Lighting Artist. In 2020, he founded Proj Production, a 3D animation studio specialised on Unreal Engine.In 2022 he became a partner and official Unreal Engine instructor for Epic Games where he now teaches at studios and schools around the world to develop Unreal Engine workflows.He collaborates with Gobelins Paris, Lego and LVMH.
