The National Talent Academy for Animation is excited to announce a paid work placement opportunity for a Junior 2D Animator on an upcoming short film.
Job Description:
The Junior 2D Animator will support the lead 2D Animator in creating a high standard of animation. The ideal candidate must be able to work under the mentorship of the Lead 2D Animator, who will provide you with continuous feedback.
Requirements:

The ability to work remotely or in-studio in Kilkenny.

Proficiency in TVPaint.

Experience with After Effects would also be a plus.

Excellent communication skills, observation skills and the ability to take direction as required.

Team player with the ability to work independently.
Key Details:
Start Date: March 2026.
Rate: €550.00 per week.
Contract Length: Five weeks, full-time.
Location: Remote or in-studio in Kilkenny.
This opportunity is ONLY open to applicants 18+ living in the Rep. of Ireland.
