Course Profile:
The course would be a course aimed at beginner users of ZBrush, who have never used the software before but have an interest in sculpture. It will cover the interface and the main tools and techniques involved in sculpting digitally. At the end of the course, the students will be able to sculpt their own creature or character designs using the techniques they've learned, and will also have sculpted a monster head. The course will be held online, with classes being held for 5 hours per day over a course of 10 days.
Tutor:
The tutor is Seán Forsyth, who has worked as a 3D Modeller, Texture Artist, Fur Groomer, Technical Director, CG Supervisor and Art Director in the animation industry for over 14 years, working on multi Emmy award winning television cartoons in that time as well as Ireland’s first 3D animated feature film. He has also worked on Augmented and Virtual Reality surgical simulators, has sculpted and 3D printed props for various high profile shows and movies and has been using ZBrush since 2004. He has been teaching ZBrush since 2017.
