Please note by registering your interest you are NOT applying for a course.  This is to gauge the interest of crew in attending this type of course.  We would also like to hear what elements you would like to see on the course so that we know the training is meeting crew needs as directly expressed by the crew.

Course Profiles:

These courses would run over one day on a weekday or over two weekday evenings.

Excel budgets for the screen sector.

This online course will aid the user in getting a better understanding of the capabilities of Excel and support them in structuring and formatting a budget for use in their department. It is a practical hands-on course.

This course exists for beginners, intermediate or advanced.

Participant Profile:

These courses will be aimed at crew working in the live-action Film & TV industry who use Excel in their departments as a tool. Participants should have a basic knowledge of Excel and some hands-on experience.  Access to a computer/laptop, with Excel pre-loaded, with a camera, microphone/speakers and good broadband will be required.

Carmel Murray (B.A. H.Dip. Grad. Dip Computing, Microsoft Professional.) has been running IT courses for many years as a private consultant and then as a member of the Genbase Solutions team. She has designed many courses to suit different industries. Carmel’s courses are practical and are exercise led so the student gets hands on experience with Excel.

Carmel also develops solutions for clients in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
