Excel for the Animation Industry (Intermediate)

The National Talent Academy for Animation is delighted to launch our Excel for the Animation Industry (Intermediate) workshop with Carmel Murray.

Course Overview:

This practical online course will allow the participants to get a better understanding of the capabilities of excel and support them in setting up and maintaining departmental and funding application budgets. This is an intermediate level course and participants should have some basic knowledge of excel before applying.

Course Content:

• Review of basic formulas

• Copying formulas

• Format Painter

• Conditional formatting

• Charts

• Fixing cells

• Basic If statements

• Sum/Average/Max/Min

• Multiple sheets

• Multiple Files

• Validation

• Database feature - Filtering, Subtotalling, Basic  Pivot Tables

• Hyperlinks

• Examples will be included and we will cover budget exercises to allow the participant to ask questions and revise.

Date: Two Evenings (6:30pm - 9:30pm); Tuesday 14th May & Thursday 16th May.

Location: Online.

Cost: There is no cost to the participants.

Places: 8.

Deadline: 3rd of May at 5pm.

Requirements:

Candidates must be resident in Ireland.

Candidates must have access to Microsoft Excel, not Google Sheets.
