Demystifying Sustainable Productions: Industry Event

Demystifying Sustainable Productions: A sustainability focused Film & TV industry event

National Talent Academy Film & TV, with Daragh Goan and Alex de Valera, are excited to host a sustainability focused Film & TV industry event on Friday December 1st 2023 . This day-long event will be hosted in-person and streamed online, with talks, panel discussions, filmmaker Q&A, case studies and finishing with a in person networking session.

Hosts Daragh Goan and Alex de Valera have worked on the ground as sustainability managers and have identified a need to engage with producers in the area of sustainable productions, in order to meet the new sustainability standards set by Screen Ireland, and to be in line with the eventual sectoral emissions-reductions targets.

The goal for this day is to demystify the processes behind sustainable productions, to introduce producers to other key stakeholders in the sustainable production process including suppliers and sustainability advisors - and to act as a safe space for producers to have their questions answered and to share their experiences, to date, with sustainable productions.

The event has been carefully crafted to engage with the industry in a meaningful, but casual, manner and welcome everyone, whether you are new to the area of sustainability or have a strong understanding - all are welcome to attend and to contribute to the conversation.
