CREW CALL (2026)

To launch the first phase of our NTA Short Film Fund and First Credit Short Film Scheme for 2026, our special CREW CALL event returns this year. 

 Taking place on Sunday, 14th June 2026, in Dublin City Centre, this is a unique opportunity for potential (live-action) crew members to connect with our selected teams for their upcoming short film productions. 

During the event, each team will pitch their project and outline the specific crew roles they are looking to fill. This will be followed by informal networking, offering attendees the chance to connect directly with the filmmakers and other crew members. 

This year’s live-action short film team line-up will be announced soon. Stay tuned! 

Location: Dublin City Centre (exact location will be shared on June 12th or upon confirmation of registration) 
Date: Sunday, 14th June 2026 
Time: Registration from 13:00; event starts at 13:30 sharp (no late entries will be allowed). 

 

Who Can Registers: 

If you're a film crew member interested in joining exciting new projects and meeting emerging filmmakers, we invite you to register to attend. 

All crew mebers must: 

• Be a full-time resident in Ireland
• Be over 21 years of age 
• Not be in full-time education 

All career levels are welcome. 

Please note: This event is not suitable for actors. 

A majority of this year’s films will be shooting in the east, but crew from across Ireland who are willing to travel are very welcome to attend the event.

Deadline to register: Friday, 12th June at 12:00 noon 
Please note: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendance numbers are limited. Incomplete RSVPs will not be considered. 

  

Selection Process: 

We aim to accommodate everyone who registers, but capacity is limited in order to ensure a diverse mix of roles and experience levels. Registration does not guarantee a place, and we strongly encourage early registration to avoid disappointment, as the form will close once capacity has been reached.
