The National Talent Academy for Animation is delighted to launch our Becoming a Lead or Supervisor in the Animation Industry workshop, developed by Leon Elliott.
Purpose and Scope:
Many artists have little to no training in basic time management and administrative tasks, much less people management. This course will equip participants with fundamental skills and tools to adapt to lead and supervisor roles, regardless of the department.
Content:
The course will concentrate on four main topics: Personal organisation, time management, people management and meeting delivery expectations. Using basic and freely accessible tools like Google Sheets, the course will allow the participants to adapt to any new administrative role that requires a new approach and level of responsibility.
The course will give participants the confidence to begin or prepare for a promotion to a lead or supervisor position in a studio with all of the fundamental tools needed to fulfil the job description. They will fully understand how to motivate and support their team, while learning organisational techniques to meet delivery expectations.
