Course Profile:

This workshop will offer an overview of Rhino 3D software’s application in the Art Department and offer tips and tools for its effective use. The course will cover topics such as 2D Draughting in Rhino, Basic Modelling in 3D, Importing and Exporting Files and Setting up a Drawing.

The workshops will be taught on PC; if a number of attendees work on Mac, this can be facilitated on the day. 

There will be 2 days of in-person training at a Dublin location. A project will be set by the tutor to complete after the training and this will be reviewed in a one-to-one follow-up session via zoom.

The Rhino Interface

2D Draughting Tools

Basic 3D Modelling Tools

Draughting Layouts

Importing and Exporting

Participant Profile:

This workshop is aimed at Art Department personnel who are new to Rhino and/or Digital Draughting. This course will be aimed at Junior Draughtspeople and Trainees. Details of downloading the trial version of the software will be provided to shortlisted participants. You will need to have access to a laptop and have the software downloaded before the day.

The course is limited to 8 participants
